The full name of the CF flange is Conflat Flange. It is a kind of flange connection used in ultra-high vacuum system. Its main sealing method is metal sealing that is copper gasket sealing, can withstand high temperature baking. It is important to note that the copper gasket can be very ineffective after one use. For systems with high vacuum requirements, the flange needs to be replaced every time it is dismantled. Suitable for vacuum levels up to 10-12 mbar. The flanges are usually of 304, 316 stainless steel etc.
